Bluff’s Landing There aren’t many places on the Texas Gulf Coast that are going to be able to compare their facilities and amenities to Bluff’s Landing. Here you can really find something for the whole family. Access to some of the best fishing anywhere on the Gulf Coast of the United States is the mainstay of their location but their facilities offer total convenience to not only the angler but the angler’s family as well. A sprawling marina complete with covered boat slips, two spacious boat ramps, spacious paved parking for your vehicles and trailers, a full service bait and tackle shop with fuel and a fish cleaning station, hotel, three lodges, dockside restaurant serving the best in Texas Gulf Coast seafood, beach area, wind surfing, and for the ladies close access to the jewel of the Texas Gulf Coast… Corpus Christi and all of it’s wonderful shopping. This marina gives the entire angler’s family something to look forward to. When we went down to Flour Bluff several months ago to see the progress being made at the Bluff’s Landing Marina we realized they had a ways to go. It seemed as though things were going kind of slow and we made a note to get back in touch after the first of the year. This was late last Fall and some management changes that we were unaware of were taking place. Late in the Spring we went back down to Corpus and decided to swing by and see how things were going. What we found was a very pleasant surprise. You could see that there was a bunch of activity and it seemed as though everyone was in forward gear. You could also see that some enormous construction projects were under way. It was obvious that someone new had taken the reins and the projects had taken off in a defined direction. It was our pleasure to meet with Mr. Neal van Streepen the general manger of Bluff’s Landing Marina and the man responsible for the construction turnaround. We also had the pleasure of seeing Roger Viar as the marina manager. We have known Roger from his association with another marina in the Corpus area and know that the marina facilities are in good hands. I think we can safely say that the changes that have taken place have been very positive and Neal and Roger have really turned Bluff’s Marina into the angler’s facility it was meant to be. I personally think that any saltwater angler in the central Texas area should mark the Bluff’s Landing Marina down as one of their preferred destinations on the Texas Gulf Coast.
